What was your journey to becoming a yoga teacher?
Being curious and giving it a try! Feeling an immediate sense of discovering something special that I couldn’t explain at the time but knew I wanted to do more and know more. My teacher guided me to *her* teacher who was running TT through The British Wheel of Yoga (BWY). I embarked on a three year training course and my life changed. Twenty years later, here I am still loving and learning about yoga.
What does your downtime look like?
I top up my energy levels by being alone. I love to be outside in nature, walking or reading in a coffee shop. And I LOVE. A bubble bath! I also love being with friends though; having a good natter over brunch and laughing at how bonkers life can be. Connection is so important.
If you weren’t a yoga teacher, what would you be?
I’m also a graphic designer so maybe I’d be doing something creative?
How does practicing yoga help your day to day life?
It helps me PAUSE.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve been given?
Oooh tough one…maybe ‘Life is as beautiful as you make it’ or ‘You are loved’.
