What was your journey to becoming a yoga teacher?

I suffered with back pain for years. I discovered hot yoga and found I could stretch without it hurting. At the start it was all about ‘fixing’ physical aches and pains but it soon grew into a more spiritual practice.

What does your downtime look like?

Strength training at the gym.

How does practicing yoga help your day to day life?

Helps me to be less reactive to people and situations.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve been given?

Don’t worry about what others are doing on their mat - just focus on yourself. Also… Strengthen your hamstrings!
