What was your journey to becoming a yoga teacher?
I've practised yoga since the age of 17, primarily for my mental health and the benefits of the practice continue to blow my mind! After working in A LOT of jobs, from catering at festivals to teaching Geography and feeling unfulfilled... I thought, why I am not sharing yoga with the world! So that's what I do now. My mission is simple 👉 to get more people on yoga mats 💛
What's your favourite yoga pose or style + why?
I love sitting cross-legged, which is known as padmasana or lotus. It's simple but reminds me of my childhood and it's such a comforting pose for me that I find myself sitting in very often. I feel grounded, long in my spine and it instantly signals me to focus on my breathing.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve been given?
Whether it's millimetres or miles - every move towards (or away) from something counts.
