What was your journey to becoming a yoga teacher?

Long story, background in dance and trauma… led me to yoga- started lots of classes in community and went to India when I was 30 just for myself. Ended up teaching and taking more courses. First hand experience of how it can change your life inside and out on and off the Mat … taught me to feel everything and not to avoid discomfort.. I could go on forever but yeh.

What's your favourite yoga pose or style + why?

Tough question.. depends on my mood (lol)  I do love trikonasana (triangle) .. underrated for its expansiveness, while being grounded and rooted and always a sweet stretch in the side body x

How does practicing yoga help your day to day life?

Brings me presence, clarity and the ability to just be in acceptance of me in that moment.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve been given?

Fear asks ‘what if..’ - faith asks ‘even if..’ Keep faith and trust the unfolding of your life.

What does your downtime look like?

What’s downtime? Lol! Going to practice and walking in nature.
